Native Restoration

For thousands of years, Oak woodlands and tallgrass prairies have had their roots in the soils of Illinois. Less than 0.1% of the 22 million acres of tallgrass prairie that existed here before agriculture remain. Our industry is now realizing the opportunity to bring these beautiful native plants back to our landscape.
