History

Dale Stuber has a Bachelor’s Degree in Ornamental Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois and is a registered Landscape Architect in the state of Illinois.  After spending 9 years at Wirkus Nurseries in suburban, Dale and wife Dana moved back to Tremont and started their own business, Stuber Land Design, in February of 1994.

Stuber Land Design started out small and operated out of Dale’s country home with just three employees.  In 2003, we opened a custom landscape facility.  The location has allowed us to stock more materials and increase our efficiencies to help us maintain a competitive edge in our industry. After a fire in early 2020 that destroyed our shop and offices, we rebuilt bigger and anticipate being even better than before.

Stuber Land Design was started with the intention of giving Central Illinois a landscape company that is distinctively design driven and dedicated to quality construction. Our goal is to work with you to create a welcoming landscape for your home or business. Whether you need a fresh update or want to create a whole new look, we have the experience, personnel, and equipment to provide you with a landscape custom designed and installed to fit your needs.

At Stuber Land Design, we are registered Landscape Architects and Landscape Contractors that create design solutions. Being specialists in Horticulture, Hardscape and Lighting, the entire Stuber Land Design team is dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
